Being Organized Means Organizing Your Bill Too

We all do it. If you do not do it now, I bet you have done it in your past. What am I talking about? Paying your bills a few days late or waiting until the last minute. One reason is that you are not organized. You should have a system for paying those bills on time. It does not have to be someone Else’s system. It can be one that you make up yourself. You may also not want to come into reality and see what you owe to who.

There are many things available to help you get all your bills in order. There are computer programs and on line banking to just name two. By using one of these two things, you can put yourself on a schedule. Make it the same day of the month. You can even do it two days out of the month.

You can make it an event that happens on a certain day. On this day, grab your beverage of choice at the allotted time frame you have set up. Get all your debts together. Pay them. Do this a couple of times on the same day every month and you will have established a new habit. A good habit at that.

You could also take advantage of your banks bill paying service. Sit down on evening or during the day and schedule what to pay and when. This way it is done. All you have to do is make sure there is enough money in your account to cover the bills when they are being paid.

Come up with a filing system or organization method for your bills. It is not as hard as it seems. You just have to want to do it. Just like you have to get yourself motivated to organize your garage.
